Rise Above Occupational Therapy provides home rehabilitation therapy services to help progress occupational performance skills in order to maximise a client's independence and quality of life. This home based model of care assists in optimising functional outcomes within an environment familiar to you.

Home based rehabilitation services are purposely designed to increase a client’s engagement or ‘buy in’ to a therapy program. Our home based rehabilitation programs are tailored to the individual needs and goals of our clients. We appreciate that a client’s home environment is where they feel most comfortable. Subsequently, this provides access to a therapeutic environment that enables clients to practice and develop functional skills that are directly transferable to their usual routine. We also encourage the attendance of family members to help motivate clients but most importantly so they can share their rehabilitation journey with the people important to them. We can offer a variety of rehabilitation services, including:

• Activities of daily living (ADL) retraining

• Learning compensatory approaches to maximising independence

• Upper limb therapy programs

• Visual scanning education

• Cognitive therapy strategies

• Carer education
